ABOUT THE MAGAZINE
Korea is more interesting after the trend cycle moves on.
Korea Wellness Culture is an independent English-language culture magazine from K1OWUP. We report the habits around food, skin, rest, and the seasons without turning Korean life into a cure, a ranking, or a shopping list.
What we do
We connect an everyday practice to its setting, language, etiquette, and source material. A story may help you enter a jjimjilbang with less uncertainty, read a cosmetic label with more care, or understand why a seasonal meal appears when it does.
Who is responsible
K1OWUP Editorial publishes and maintains this magazine. The editorial-team page explains the working method, source hierarchy, correction route, and limits of expertise without publishing an individual editor's personal identity.
How we report
Search patterns and recurring reader questions help us decide what needs a clearer explanation. We check Korean public records, regulators, cultural institutions, current venue information, and local context before publishing an answer.
Where the line sits
We do not provide medical, dermatological, nutrition, mental-health, or weight-loss advice. We do not claim that a food, ritual, or cosmetic product treats a condition. Where a topic touches a regulated claim, the article states the boundary and links the primary source.
Who this is for
Visitors, international K-culture readers, and people who would rather understand a practice than collect another “must try” list.
